A number of Quranic, cultural and political officials as well as people from all walks of life attended the commemoration ceremony.
Addressing the event, senior Iranian cleric Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Reza Panahian described Hojat-ol-Islam Taqavi as a combatant on the cultural front.
He said Hojat-ol-Islam Taqavi loved the Islamic Revolution and sought the spiritual growth of the revolution.
He further referred to the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group as the enemy’s last resort against Islam and Muslims, expressing confidence that the Takfiri group will be destroyed.
