IQNA – In celebration of Imam Hassan’s (AS) birth anniversary, Iran’s grandest Quranic gathering took place at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.

The event, held on a Tuesday, was graced by the presence of thousands of Quran enthusiasts, along with the hosts and experts from the “Mahfel” TV show.

The program commenced with Hamed Shakernejad, an internationally recognized qari, reciting verses from Surah al-Insan. This was followed by Ahmed Abolghasemi, another esteemed qari, who recited the concluding verses of Surah Baqarah. The experts from the Mahfel TV show then joined him for a group recitation.

Adding a unique fervor to the gathering was a tawasheeh performed by the Najm al-Thaqib group. As the event continued, Iranian qari Mahdi Gholamnejad offered a special recitation alongside his children.

A poignant moment in the gathering was the tribute paid to the martyred children of Gaza, a segment that resonated deeply with all attendees.

The event aimed to elucidate the 30 life-giving verses of the Holy Quran. This initiative, known as “Living with Verses,” culminated in a collective recitation of the Holy Quran by the experts and the audience.

The campaign, orchestrated by a consortium of Quranic institutions and activists, selected 30 pivotal verses from the Holy Quran. Mastering these verses is believed to fortify the religious foundations of the attendees.

As a final gesture of communal spirit, 150,000 iftar packages were distributed among the fasting attendees.
