Periodic Plan for Maintenance at Ka’aba Begins
The plan is implemented under the supervision of the project management office in the Saudi ministry of finance in cooperation with related government bodies, Youm7 website reported.
It is aimed at carrying out maintenance work and keeping the holy site in the best conditions.
The latest technologies are used to ensure the highest standards in the implementation of maintenance work, officials say.
Since its establishment, the project management office has been tasked with supervising development plans at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.
