Memorizers of Quran Honored in Qatar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Ninety-three memorizers of the Holy Quran were honored in a ceremony in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The country’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, represented by the Women’s Activity Department of the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance, honored the memorizers from various memorization centers in its ninth batch with a general success rate of 90%. 

As many as 82 female memorizers received an excellent rating bringing the total number of memorizers in the country between 2014 and 2022, to 500.

During the ceremony, a visual content was shown to highlight the strategic goal expected to be achieved in 2030, namely the graduation of no less than 600 memorizers.

This goal will have a great impact on achieving tranquility and stability of families and contain generations in our homes and society, thus contributing to the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030.

Haifa Al Nuaimi, Assistant Director of the Dawah and Religious Guidance Department praised the administrations of the Memorization Centers, women’s memorization division, and the distinguished female memorizers who took upon themselves to facilitate the memorization of Holy Quran by learners, and to provide them with the appropriate atmosphere, which was evident this year through the increase in the number of memorizers of Holy Quran compared to the previous years.
