Lack of Quran Teachers; Major Problem of the Visually Impaired

-“Lack of Quran teachers and the high expense of the Brail version of the Glorious Quran, are the two major problems of visually impaired Quran learners in Indonesia”, Al-jazeereh.net reported.
This is according an official with the Ebn-e-Om Maktum Foveys Quran Institute in Indonesia which is an active center in arranging Quranic activities for the visually impaired.
The major purpose of the center is to educate Quran recitation to the visually impaired and provide Brail version of the holy Quran for them.
The institute has released 2700 complimentary volumes of the Holy Quran in Brail since 2007, for the three million visually impaired of the country.
Health Ministry of the country has also distributed 10000 volumes of the Quran in Brail among 150 thousand visually impaired people.
