Major mosques in different cities hosted the forums under the theme of “Quran’s virtues: Best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Quran and teach it”.

The ministry said the programs were part of the efforts aimed at spreading Quranic teachings and enhancing Islamic thoughts, Youm7 website reported.

Egypt’s Awqaf ministry has extended and diversified its Quranic programs in mosques and religious centers this year.

Many new programs have been designed and held for women, young adults and children in the country.
