According to nna-leb website, the ceremony was attended by Sheikh Amin Kurdi, representative of Abdul Latif Daryan, Lebanon’s Grand Mufti, Feisal Seno, head of the association and a number of eminent religious figures of the country.
The Quran activists are students of the sixth level othe elementary schools affiliated to the association.
A message by the Grand Mufti was read out at the end of the program in which he stressed that “we are the Ummah of the Quran and our dignity, power, culture, survival, and tranquility of our hearts are from the Quran, and if we adhere to the Quran, we will never go astray.”
The Mufti also said in his message that as long as the officials act upon the teachings of the Quran, God will help them solve problems.
