Khatm Quran App Launched in Kuwait

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An application that helps Muslims in Khatm Quran (reading the Quran from the beginning to the end) has been launched in Kuwait.

The app, dubbed ‘Quran Sahbi’ (Quran is my companion) has been developed by the Kuwaiti Charitable Society for the Service of the Holy Quran.

The society says the number of subscribers of the recently launched app has already surpassed 5,000.

Ahmed al-Murshid, an official with the society, said the application helps people read the entire Quran individually or together with their friends and family.

It also counts the number of letters each user has read from the Quran, he added, citing a Hadith from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that everyone who reads a letter of the Quran, God will give him or her ten rewards.

Al-Murshid said those interested can download the app via Google Play Store or Apple Store or from the website hofath.org.
