Exam to Select Quran Memorizers Planned in Palestine
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An examination will be organized in Palestine to select top Quran memorizers.
The Palestinian Awqaf (endowment) Ministry will organize the exam on August 16, al-Watanvoice.com website reported.
A meeting of the heads of committees tasked with holding the exam was held earlier this week in the city of Ramallah to discuss the needed preparations.
They also talked about the standards of the examination and selecting the memorizers.
Hamid al-Najjar, an official with the Awqaf Ministry said that 538 boys and girls have signed up for the exam.
He said it will be organized on Sunday from 8:30 am to 1 pm local time.
