Final Stage of Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Contest Concludes
The finalists competed in memorization of 30, 20 and 10 Juzes of Quran and Tahqeeq and Tateel recitation on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tahere Nayebi Movahhed, Roya Fadhayeli, Mahdiyeh Shakouri, Ateneh Alinaqi, Maliheh Talebian, Raziyeh Rahimi, Narjes Sa’duddin, Shima Yazdani, Zahra Abbasi were the 16 to 32-year-old finalists in the category of memorization of the entire Quran.
The under 16-year-old participants in the final stage of this category were Hannaneh Khalafi, Zeynab Feidhi, Fatemeh Torkashvand, Seyyedeh Fatemeh Javadi, Narges Norouzi, Fatemeh Nezampour, and Roqayyeh Siahmazgi.
Hakimeh Nasiri, Seyyedeh Mahnaz Hosseini, Ziba Zare’ Moayyedi, Zeynab Tayi, Fatemeh Khaleqi, A’dham Akbari and Marziyeh Ghazali Esfahani were the above 32-year-old finalists in this category.
In memorization of 20 Juzes category. Fatemeh Zahra Mo’tamedi, Mobina Sheikhi, Mohanna Qanbari, Fatemeh Abbasi Semnani, Fatemeh Sadat Hashemi and Fatemeh Kowthar Heidari were the under 16-year-old finalists.
The 16 to 32 year-old finalists in this category were Zahra Mohebbi, Zahra Tavakkol, Atefeh Raoufi, Mahdiyeh Ghezelbash, Ma’soumeh Sadat Mousawi, Arefeh Aghanouri and Fatemeh Askari.
Robabeh Ja’farlu, Somayyeh Abbasi, Marziyeh Mortezayi Abroudi, Elaheh Akbari Jebeli, Elham Abedini and Raziyeh Hoseini competed in this category in teh above-32-year-old age group.
The women’s section of the competition kicked off on January 23 with the participation of 5600 Quran activists and winners will be announced on Thursday, January 30.
This year’s competition has been named after Martyr Qassem Soleimani, who was assassinated earlier this month by US forces in Iraq.
