Tokyo Event Features Character, Martyrdom of Gen. Soleimani

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A program was recently held in the Japanese capital of Tokyo on the character of martyred Iranian commander General Qassem Soleimani.

 

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies hosted the event, which was organized in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Japan.

It was addressed by Hatushi Murishima, a scholar of the university, who talked about General Soleimani’s character, his martyrdom and the massive presence of people in his funeral.

Commander of the IRGC Quds Force General Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who was the deputy commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), and a number of their entourage were killed in the strike by American drones near Baghdad International Airport in the early hours of January 3.

The Pentagon said in a statement on that US President Donald Trump had ordered the US military to assassinate the top Iranian commander.
