According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the ceremony was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in Bangladesh in cooperation with the Faithful Association of the South Asian country.
Addressing the program, Seyyed Mohammad Mahdi Husseini Fa'iq, in charge of the cultural center clarified the status and importance of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in social and religious arenas and stressed that there is no difference between various Islamic schools of thought in paying respect to the household of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
He added that following the Ahlul-Bayt (AS) and living a life based on their teachings will strengthen Muslim unity in today’s world.
Hojat-ol-Islam Abdul Quddus, a Bangladeshi cleric, also presented a speech in the ceremony in which he said that the Seerah of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) should be manifested in a real Muslim’s life.
