Creation of Jobs with Traditional Designs

TEHRAN (IQNA) – While making handicrafts is not as common as it used to be, there are still craftsmen earning a living by selling them.

Handicrafts in Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan enjoy a remarkable variety, given the historical background and presence of various tribes and cultures in the area, including Arabs, Bakhtiaris and others.

The following photos feature handicrafts made by women in the areas of Andika and Lally with the support of the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation.
