110 Disabled Couples Marry in Mass Wedding in Tehran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – On the occasion of the International Day of Disabled Persons, 110 disabled couples took part in a mass wedding ceremony held at Tehran’s Milad Power.
Tehran’s Mayor Pirouz Hanachi and a number of other officials and cultural and religious figures were present at the ceremony.
The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is an international observance promoted by the United Nations since 1992.
